Aaron Prager

Selected as the Eastern Region “Top App” winner in the 2025 Congressional App Challenge after winning MA-04 — advancing from 4,600+ student apps nationwide to the top spot among the East Region’s district champions (U.S. House of Representatives CAC; The Heights, Mar 2026).

What they built

Built BoostT1D, an AI-powered diabetes management app that uses Google Gemini Vision to scan meals and instantly calculate carbohydrate content and insulin dosage recommendations. The app also provides glucose trend analysis, therapy adjustment insights, and a Buddy Network that pairs newly diagnosed diabetics with volunteer mentors. Aaron developed it independently from personal frustration — diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes as a toddler, he found no existing app that made daily management genuinely easier. BoostT1D won the 2025 Congressional App Challenge in Massachusetts's Fourth District and was selected as an Eastern Region Top App from over 4,600 national submissions.
