What they built
Ali Humaid Al Loughani built 'Doctor Robot' (My Dr Bot), an IoT-powered robot that monitors vital signs — heart rate, blood pressure, and temperature — and transmits data to a secure cloud accessible by doctors via a website he also developed himself. Inspired by the UAE's national initiative 'A Doctor for Every Citizen,' his invention enables continuous remote patient monitoring for families without clinic visits, particularly helping elderly patients and people with chronic conditions. The robot has since been upgraded toward administering IV injections and providing oxygen, pending Ministry of Health approval.
