Built EARTH-ai, a machine-learning crop-selection model trained on a 17,000-parameter environmental dataset and reported at 99% predictive accuracy, while still 16 — documented in the Gloria Barron Prize 2025 winners profile. [estimated superlative — flag for verification]

What they built

Developed "Smart Carbon Recycling," a multi-component climate and agriculture initiative that addresses soil degradation, carbon sequestration, and food insecurity. She formulated KelpNutriBoost, a low-cost biofertilizer made from Oregon coast kelp that restores soil health and improves crop yields. She also built EARTH-ai from scratch — a machine learning model trained on 17,000 environmental parameters that predicts the optimal crops for any given soil and climate with 99% accuracy, accessible via smartphone. Most recently she combined KelpNutriBoost with biochar derived from plastic waste and sewage biosolids, further boosting soil fertility and nutrient density. The system targets small-scale farmers in developing countries facing soil degradation and food insecurity.
