What they built
Founded G's Giving Gowns at age 11 after watching her baby cousin undergo cancer treatment in drab, oversized hospital gowns. The nonprofit designs and hand-sews bright, custom-patterned hospital gowns and port shirts — free of charge — for children fighting cancer, distributed across 44+ states and multiple countries via 500+ volunteers. The initiative has grown to include colorful pillows with washable markers for hospitalized children to decorate, addressing the emotional toll of pediatric cancer treatment by giving young patients something joyful and dignified to wear.
