What they built
At age 17, disproved the Mizohata–Takeuchi conjecture in harmonic analysis — a 40-year-old open problem in mathematics — by constructing a counterexample showing that Fourier restriction shapes do not need to be concentrated along lines. Published on arXiv in February 2025. Now a first-year Ph.D. student in mathematics at the University of Maryland studying harmonic analysis and Fourier restriction theory.
