SargaTex PR – a biodegradable biofabric made from sargassum seaweed that overruns Puerto Rico's beaches. Transforms an environmental nuisance into a sustainable material for short-use consumer items (flip-flops, beach and spa accessories), simultaneously addressing marine sargassum pollution and plastic/textile waste.
