At age 16, got Mr. Fresh automobile air fresheners onto Walmart shelves across ~150 Missouri stores — reported by St. Louis Magazine (Aug 27, 2025).

What they built

Joshua Danrich founded Mr. Fresh at age 10 — a line of natural, 100% essential-oil-based car and home air fresheners. Inspired by his dream of owning a luxury sports car dealership but being too young to drive, he channelled that passion into creating his own automotive product. After six years of building the brand independently with his mother Shay Danrich, he pitched Mr. Fresh at Walmart's open call in Bentonville, Arkansas, and landed a retail partnership at age 16 — making him one of fewer than 100 teenage entrepreneurs in history to have a product on Walmart shelves. Mr. Fresh is now stocked in 150+ Walmart stores across Missouri and Illinois and available online, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Feeding America.
