Mai Anh Le co-founded Optimal Optics at age 16 — a smart eyewear startup combining robotics, AI, and health tech to track myopia causes and promote better everyday visual wellness. The venture targets the worsening youth myopia epidemic in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, where vision deterioration from excessive screen use is a critical but underserved public health problem. She competed at the 2025 NFTE World Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge, representing Vietnam against teams from 13 countries at the United Nations in New York.
