What they built
Mohammad Parsa Parhizkar, 12, co-founded Minedu AI — an AI-powered educational plugin for Minecraft that turns the popular game into an interactive science classroom. The plugin uses Google's Gemini API to create AI tutors and intelligent NPCs that give students real-time personalised feedback, answer questions in multiple languages, and generate quizzes to assess understanding. It addresses the real-world problem of disengaged learners by meeting students inside a game they already love, making complex science topics approachable and fun. Backed by Google Malaysia, Minedu AI won Gold and Best Young Inventor Excellence Award at ITEX/WYIE 2025, beating 140+ teams from 55 schools, and Parsa later spoke at GITEX Asia 2026 as its youngest-ever speaker.
