Okechukwu Nwaozor is the founder and CEO of OkeyMeta, a Nigerian AI company he began building at age 14 in 2022. OkeyMeta has developed OkeyAI, a large language model (LLM) built entirely from scratch by a self-taught team in Nigeria, capable of processing text, analyzing images, generating code, and automating tasks via API. The platform now has nearly 1,000 end users and over 8,000 developers on its API platform — making it one of Africa's first homegrown LLMs and addressing the lack of locally-built AI infrastructure on the continent.
