Team Leader of Reteena’s Alzheimer’s Diagnosis Solution in MIT Solve’s 2024 Global Health Equity Challenge submission, and contributor to Reteena’s IEEE BigData 2024 low‑field MRI Alzheimer’s framework — per MIT Solve solution listing and Reteena’s published project summary.

What they built

Co-founded Reteena in March 2024 at age 16–17 — an applied AI research lab dedicated to making neurodegenerative disease diagnostics affordable and accessible. Reteena's flagship project is a deep learning framework that enhances low-field MRI scans to achieve 96% diagnostic accuracy for early Alzheimer's detection, enabling early diagnosis on low-cost portable scanners without hospital-grade equipment. The lab is also developing 'Remembrance,' an AI-powered memory companion for Alzheimer's patients that delivers reminiscence therapy through natural conversation and a knowledge-graph memory archive. Research has been published at IEEE BigData 2024 and NeurIPS 2025, and the lab is sponsored by Microsoft for Startups.
