What they built

Co-founded Build Hope – Palestine with her sister Farah, turning rubble from destroyed buildings in Gaza into reusable non-load-bearing building blocks. The solution is decentralized, low-cost, and relies on locally available materials — designed to be replicated by communities without heavy machinery or specialized infrastructure. Tala also runs youth training programs to build rebuilding skills.
